So now you make this life the best one that you can, because it's the only one you get.

How do you know God is real?

No one knows with absolute certainty, other than what is in their HEARTS, what is right or wrong. And the faith in your heart, is your opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.

The important thing, whatever you believe, is to try and make this world a better place. Not so we can reach some greater pinacle of after-life, but just to make it better. So our children have a better world, and in turn if our children follow our good example, our grandchildren and so on will have a better world over all.

Be a good person, love your life. That's all that really matters. Believe what is in your heart, but don't lash out in anger at others over it. Just try to better the world in non-religious ways for the sake of generations to come.

No...you don't just go around singing lifes a B*.*. You spring into action to make the world a better place for yourself and others. You lead a life of loving, respecting, understanding, compassion/empathy, etc. You make your time here on this Earth a Heavenly one. Don't go wondering around spewing negativity just because you don't believe in God and if you're a believer let me query you: If there is in fact a God why would there be so much misery and strife in our world---wouldn't he/she/it have intervened? PEACE!

Sing that if you want... The rest of us will be out there trying to make the world a better place.

Life has a lot of purpose and reason. I consider my life highly meaningful. If the sole purpose of your life is God, then I would consider you a seriously inadequate member of our species.

If I was to prove to you that your god is fictional, (and I can), what would you do? Do you think perhaps you would kill yourself? Would you start singing "Life's a *****"?

What you do with it is up to you. It's not the job of the atheist to give you all the answers on how to live your life. We just don't base our lives on a false belief.

So as I stated above... what would you do if that was proven to you? If you can imagine that, then you have your answer. We were just like you, once. We studied, we learned, and we woke up.

Perhaps you will need to find out why this life is important to you and then share that with others. What you do with rational thought is up to you. Perhaps you can use this knowledge to help others break the grip of false beliefs. Think of the millions of muslim women who could use a little sanity in their world.

i feel sorry for people like you. i don't need some imaginary friend to give meaning to my life. i have a family whom i love and who love me. i have friends i care deeply for and who care about me. the things that i do to make others happy and live life a little better is my immortality. through the thoughts and love of those i leave behind i will live on. i live what you would call a moral life not because anyone or anything requires it of me, but because it is the way i choose to be.

Go ahead and live your life that way if you like.

I will go on and try to make it the best and most pleasurable for my self and my family while I am alive, and hope that I can make a positive impact on my species.

Its pathetic you need an imaginary being to give your life meaning, loser.

Now you live for today and take responsibility for your own life, instead of living for and because of some great powerful being.

Isn't it so freeing?
