To force peace (that's an oxymoron)? NO, to take over and control? YES, war is how countries are made. only things have changed, now you have to apologize and pay to rebuild stuff they never had in the first place...... i wonder if Scipio or Napoleon said they were sorry?

war is only a goverment money maker...No peace will ever come if forced on people. If this so called peace does come to pass it will only last for a short time and will again have to be settled by war. War brings money peace just brings peace

War dictates policy over a given area and it's people. It does not create peace. War is a tool used to enforce one person or governments will on others. It does not create peace. Why does anyone want their will imposed on others... that's the real question.

If in your household, there is a disagreement. You all started to fight, after 1 hour you all stop to rest, everybody got a black eye, you on the other hand is the only one with two black eye. Now you want to get even, and start fighting again. After another hour you all stop to have a look around, guess what?, it still uneven, joey's got a broken nose. Here we go again.

If people can talk, do you think we can have a better chance at peace?

Must of them think as you do. The only way to avoid violence is to make a strong campaign of persuasion in order all of us understand the "Big value of Life and its Transcendence, so by Conviction, more than by laws or threatens, we become to be genuinely Sincere, Grateful and Respectful with The One Who Gave us Life, with Nature and with ourselves" This is accepted by Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Christians etc. It is explained in my book: "AWARENESS, The Meaning of Life" (VANTAGE PRESS NY, NY $18.95) and is free for you in the source below

Only when the war is justified, like WWI & WWII. Not when Bush needs a new oil pipeline.
