no there was no reason yesterday we were IMing and talking on the phone and everything was good then this morning he broke up with me in an IM well it was actually at like 12:3o last night

Hey if he was a real man he'd say it to your face. Since he said it over IM you should talk to him. Since you added the part about his friend, his FRIEND might have wanted to break you two up to be with you! I seriously think that's the case. I would ask him if he really did type that.

I say that stinks and I'm sorry for your pain. On the upside however, you're lucky to be rid of a guy who would treat you so impersonally by breaking up via IM. Let your wounds heal and then look around....I'm sure there's better love out there for you waiting to be discovered. Good luck to you.

Internet hastles....they never stop do they. Trey... you don't read a bunch of IMs and decide its the end of the world. Go out there, meet you bf face to face....and ask him...."hey honey...are you breaking up with me?" And see what he has to say. Then tell him about the IM you got this morning. Good luck!

she is confused. she jus took you cos she felt sad and lonely. If the guy goes away, the girl will find you again. So you should let her go so she won't break your heart twice. It is diffcult, but it is better now then next time. If you really like her, jus keep her somewhere special in your heart and go on with your life

First tell him he's a loser and a wimp for not telliing you in person and thank him for doing you a favor. You need a real man. Do you want a guy who is going to text message you every time he tells you that he loves you?

Take it serious - don't respond back - act as though you never saw the message - that will have him questioning your feelings for him. Just don't ever see him again - you don't need to plead for reasons - you'll never get the right answers - think of him as a cheater, cause that's what they do - they use you and dump you.

you call him and ask him why. There is no reason for a man to IM a girl and tell her that its over. And then after, he tells you why, you tell him how much of a coward he is. I can't tell you that this'll mend your broken heart, but he'll realize his stupidity. Karma sweety, Karma.

leavin an IM as a breakup shows that he isnt a man and afraid of doin it in person...u need a man so u should either move on or confront him about y he left u an IM

You didnt say how long you had been together, but any guy that uses a phone, or IM's to do his dirty work is just dumb, and not worth your tears!

Just leave him alone because he wasn't man enough to tell you in person but keep in mind that it may not have been him, someone just may have been impersonating him which is so easy to do online.
