I'm missing the point. This is like saying, "what's the point of life?" or "Why do we use words?" or "why do we call letters letters and not grapefruits." Because we do. Why do you understand what I am saying? Because that's the way we were created. A human's inability to grasp why everything is the exact way it is happens only to be proof that humans are not in and of themselves everything there is to know; there is a greater power.

God is omnipotent. I can't speak for his reasoning as my understanding of his plan is limited by my inability to comprehend such magnificence. It may be that we Christians have bodies so as to be able to give butt whoopings to heathen types who push our buttons beyond the limits of our ability to turn the other cheek;)

...is there something wrong with the human body? with trees? birds? planets?
...God endowed thinking ability to man and angel.. which becomes the ability to choose.. but God himself is Life, and Perfection (Life to live, can only be excellent).. to choose other than his choices is to become imperfect, is to move away from Life.. thus was the son sent to check that journey.. The outcome can only be the utter best. (THEN shall other planets 'come to' life, once this matter of good and evil / true and untrue / life and non life, is proven and deeply engrained on eVery heart and mind..

That is the way He chose us to be. If we were any other way you still would probably ask this question to doubt God
