Looks are about 30% of a potentional relationship there is more to a person than their looks, looks fade but personality takes the cake. But you need to be attracted to the person on all levels not just one level. So if the guy was not so good looking or fat but was sweet and a good personality i would go on a date and see where it went from there.

If he had a great personality and was really nice I would. You know you don't have to be physically ugly to be an ugly person and remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
