Yes to get a full service there is the monthly sky+ subscription...

Look I think you are mad to go with sky... go out and buy a motorised system, and buy a Humax H.D. box with a smart drive included! Then get a satelite tv weekly and buy a card for the european channels in particular the greek Nova stuff with filmnet 1, 2, 3, and H.d... premiership footy the works a world of tv that will cost you less than a full sky plus package!

sky are monopolising money grabbing and inferior to the full euro range... Sky's customer service is rubbish, they never understand your complaint, send your call to india, never deal with complaints proper, turn you off before your month in lieu runs out, and WILL steal money from your account when you have give up the service... or if you have a callback fault, particularily if the callback happens if your phonline has a problem... During this time you will incur a major phone bill to a premium rate line! Usually about a fiver a call! Seriously you will need to take the time to explain to an individual whom cannot understand your accent... for them to pass you over to a manager, who will give you another number to ring, on ringing that number you will find that they cannot deal with your problem, and so on!

Let me put it to you like this Sky owe me for 4 months of service i did not recieve... about 10 films that we never watched... and still tried billing me for £140+...

forget em mate... I'm taking them to Court... I'm not the only person that this has happened to!

You would have to pay around £200 for the sky+ box which you can ask to be delivered and yes you would then connect it yourself *** you are already a subscriber to sky i think they do deals on upgrades and they would send an engineer to install the equipment.
