Yes, Sin is sin. It is no different than murder. Does anyone believe that murder is against God's law? The Word is what it is and has never changed. It is the acceptence of being gay that has changed. Love the person- Hate the sin. The Lord did not make another man to be a companion to man. He made a woman. He did not make a man able to bear children either. Not to include that the rear end is not a place for things to go in, rather a place for waste to come out! If you add it all together and look at the facts...it just wasn't meant to be.

My brother in law was born gay when he was little he wanted dolls and liked to pick flowers. you dont learn to become gay your born that way. Also if all of us were suppos to follow "gods" plan then we would all be the same dammit. Why did "he" make us all different. "god" loves everyone no matter race or sexuality people. Being gay is not a bad thing my brother is the most intellectual person I know. Very smart very gifted but he likes men, get over it. really its not a big deal. He hasnt even had sex with a man and he knows he is gay.

The Bible was written by man. Someone a long time ago must have been angry with gays. What's the best way to get someone to do something or not to do something? Write it in the Bible and pass it off as God's laws. Be gay, be happy, and don't be judged because the bible says something about God being the one true judge. What a stupid book.

Of Course, Remember Sodam and Gomorrah. And what about Jesus said in Matthew 5:17-18,
"Do not Think that I have come to abolish the law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish but to fulfill them. For truly I say to you until heaven and earth pass away, not an *iota(a tiny exsersion on certain letters in the Hebrew alphabet), not a dot, will pass away from the Law until all is accomplished.
And in 1st Timothy 1:9-10,
"The Law is not laid for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for thoes who stike thier fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually inmoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, lairs,..." etc..... Need I say more?

The Bible says that being gay is an abomination of God. That is all we have to go on. But I also think that people's prejudice against gay people is also against God's law, because we are not supposed to judge, that should be left up to God.

Sexual perversion is against God's Law.Being Gay does not make you a pervert.God is about love. Not sex.Adultery is definitely against his law.He created everyone for a reason, even gays to help us grow spritually. The Bible does not say it's against God's Law.The laws of nature, yes. Also the Bible was written by 100 men inspired by God.I do not feel in my heart that God hates Gay people.

The answer to this question is clear.
Since God is the creator of everything (not just those things that are convenient), and being gay clearly is not a choice...the only conclusion is that God created homosexuals. And, since God clearly wouldn't create anything that contradicts his own laws, being gay must be "ok."

There is nothing wrong with being gay. Being gay is a brain thing not a choice thing. If you believe in a god and the bible that talks about him, fossils then are an illusion or placed here by the devil. Maybe if you educate yourself more you don't have to believe old wives tales and be ashamed of who you are.

As you can tell from too many of the answers, it seems many do believe it.
Since they don't seem to feel strongly (if at all) about many other scriptural prohibitions, I'm prone to think this is a question of unresolved issues in that community. Sexual subjects have a way of throwing scripturalists into conniptions. With time we'll bring them into the current century ... well, maybe the last one. We had the same issues with slavery, mixed marriages, etc.

Lev 18:22 - You must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.
1 Corinthians 6:9 -11 - What! Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, [...] nor men who lie with men [...] will inherit God's kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.
