The trinity is a spiritual paradox and really has nothing to do with math or any other aspect of "science."

Perhaps you're not quite qualified yet to talk about science with "somebody."

I know.. and what about the one that nothing exploded into everything.. And makes me wonder if anyone else has ever seen an explosion before? (Nowadays 1+1+1 is always 10....For instance, does anyone even know what the "Law of Entrophy" is? Especially seeing as it's only the 2nd most held law of science..
... [Let alone even consider the mathematical odds as put forth by mathemeticians, showing it takes a lot of faith indeed to believe in a series of highly unlikely accidents.. or actually mathematically impossible to have occurred..]

The concept of the trinity only applies to the concept of God. If you are doing a math equation, I'm sure a believer would do real addition. If not, that person has no hope of getting a job in math and/or science.

When God communicates His truth to people, He uses two words, Echad and Yachid. When God refers to be the only God in existence, absolute oneness, "Besides Me there is no God", He uses the word Yachid, but when God speaks of His Nature which is plural, a compound unity noun, He uses the word Echad.

The Triunity of God can be likened to a plant. Stem, leaf and root constitute but one plant; each has a distinction incommunicable to the other two; none is the plant without the other two; each with the other two is the plant.

Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are one God; each has a property incommunicable to the other two; none is God without the other two; each with the other two is God.

Having faith in the Trinity is not against reason and logic. Although the Triunity cannot be explained fully, it can be proved by reason in every day life, we come across this in many different ways. One of the worst things a man can do is to reject God as a triune God because of mathematical expression. God cannot be limited to mathematical rules. Looking at human beings, it can be seen that man unites in one person three different kinds of life, body, spirit and soul.

Body and soul are what man share with animals, which possess natural consciousness, but spirit gives every man the capacity to receive Divine Revelation and to know God.

If we consider the sun, one cannot escape the fact that light, heat and energy are three distinct features, but there is one sun. Water has three distinct forms: solid ice, liquid water and invisible water vapour, but it is always H2O.

We don't believe 1+1+1=1.
We believe 1x1x1=1.

You can't! Just leave it alone!

And by the way 1+1+1=1, means the trinity.
Just as silly as this math problem-answer!

I guess you are talking about Christians and their belief in the trinity?

Do you want to convince them that evolution is correct?

Just point out that evolution and the bible don't contradict one another. Each of those seven days of creation could have been millenia or however long each stage of evolution took.
