I have a male cocker spaniel and her girly-doggy-pal hasnt come in season again for nearly 8 or 7 months!!!!
Sheeshh I want their puppies...

The average is around 6 months, but it can be as infrequent as once a year. If she is not coming into heat, however, there could be other reasons why. Talk to your girly-dog-pal's owner about the situation.

6 months is just an estimate for a dog heats cycle. It sometimes is 9 months before they come into heat again.
