Well i've never met him so i don't know his intensions and i don't want to throw any unwarrented accusations on him but i tell you what i think you should do:
If you don't want to go out with him tell him no and let that be the end of it.
If you do want to go out with him tell him, only if you can bring a friend along, (safety in numbers).
Go somewhere public
Don't get separated from your friend
Don't let him preassure you into doing anything you don't want to do.
Hope this helps
Take care.

I have been with a guy at 38 when I was 19. Its sex. However, to be honest. that same guy I was with is still around. I am 21 one.. he is 40. He is a good friend of mine and we ARE NOT having sex anymore. -- What could he want then?
I also chat with a 51 year old man on yahoo messenger. I do not do cyber sex, and he has a daughter he is about 3 years younger than I am. What could he want with me?
Then to make the matter worse. I have only ever been with a guy within about 3 years of my age ONCE. and I dont have many male friends around my age either. Do you think I care?
Answer is this: Age is just a number. If you can find someone who can make you laugh, and have fun with then go and be with them. Stop caring about what other's think and stop caring about vanity. Now, if the person is prowling around for someone 19, and being older, then, yes, theory is that they are looking for a fresh piece of meat. However, dont judge a book by the cover. --Know the person/people before you pass judgement.
Now as far as if she should go-- Does she know this guy, and what does she want from him? Its her decision and she should think about those two questions.

Let's look at it like this. Either the 19 yr old looks old enough to get into clubs, which is highly unlikely, or may be considered an "easy" target. Under 18 is jail bait in most states. A 21 yr old can go anywhere, clubs, Vegas, the liquor store, etc...
But in the guy's defense, does he know that she's 19? Isn't it bad taste to ask a woman her age? If the answer is he doesn't know refer to the first part of the answer. If he does know, then it's the "easy" part of the answer.

That was the age my wife and I were when we met and we now have 15 years of happiness. I fell in love the moment I saw her. This guy could be feeling the same way. Remember Romeo was 18 and Juliet was 14 ... Your age difference is so small in five years you won't even notice. Go out with him. Take a chance!

Well first off I have to say this. You're very prejudiced. Literally, you a judging this man by his age alone before even knowing him.
'why can't he go out with his same age friends?' Take out the word 'age' and put in the word 'race'. Now how does that sentence look? Still feel good about yourself? How about the word 'type' or 'religion'?

ACTUALLY, it all depends and on this one I'm going to defend him because... my husband and I are 8 years apart! My long term bf before that was 5 years apart. And as long as your not an EASY WHORE than he has nothing to chase after than a female he is interested in. Age does not matter its nothing but a number! Plus, older guys have better skills, usually know how to treat a woman already have great sex skills and are usually financially and educationally stable!

All the best looking girls his age are dating guys over 30 years old with money and stability. He prefers to date hot younger girls instead. Girls think they are so much more mature than they actually are and they are always in a big rush to feel like an adult, so they almost exclusively want guys farther ahead of them in life.

You know what he wants. Stay away and enjoy people in your age group. You're young, you can date a 25 year old when you're 25!

of course.
laid.
Dont do it, one day you will get married and how will you explain all those 'sweet guys' you let pump you?
--
And he talked bad about his ex? already?
Listen, almost all guys are nice to you. He could be looking for rebound sex. He wants to lay you, just like most guys do. The difference is that he mainly wants you for sex, and you could pretend to be friends too afterward.

In the vast majority of cases, yes, he is looking for an easy catch. He may also be looking for a catch-and-release. May God bless and keep you.
