Don't. For under $200 you may be able to find a puppy mill puppy, but unlikely something from a reputable breeder. Dogs from puppy mills are more likely to develop health and behavioural problems, so the savings will likely be offset by vet bills and frustration, not to mention the moral implications of perpetuating the activity of puppy mills.

Please also keep in mind that you will most certainly spend way more than 200$ in the first year of the puppy's life on food, vet bills, vacinations, toys, leashes, training, etc, etc.

If you are bent on getting a "cheap" puppy, check your local shelter and rescue groups: the "donation" for adopting a dog from them is usually in the range you mention, and you will be also doing a good deed. If you are patient, you should be able to find a Beagle puppy eventually: we managed to adopt a 4 month old Dogue De Bordeaux (pretty rare breed in the US) as well as an 8 month old Neapolitan Mastiff (again, pretty rare around here).

I think the minimum for any puppy might be $200.U better take a beagle for $200!!! The puppy I want costs up to $1000, to $2000! Take that puppy!

You will be lucky to buy any dog from a pet store for under 600$. You might have a local SPCA and they have some wonderful pups! Might not be a beagle but ya never know. These guys really need homes too. The adoption fee and the price for her to get fixed came to a total of 86$. Most of the time aswell all of the dogs are up to date on their shots and if you do have to get a shot i have never seen one that costs over 10$ (at the SPCA)

The only place where you can get a dog under 200$ bucks is at a shelter or a backyard breeder, I DO NOT support backyard breeders. They have puppies that are prone to disease and poorly bred. I suggest a shelter, where there is a lot of cute houd mixes
