Since understanding "truth" is subjective, perhaps it's more appropriate to describe ways of "truthful living."
- Creative, rather than destructive
- Helpful, rather than indifference
- Growing, rather than shrinking
- Embracing, rather than rejecting
- Freeing, rather than limiting
- Healing, rather than harming
- Loving, rather than hating
(You get the idea!)

Hi kakosh,
you have asked a very profound question and i hope that the answer i give to you may guide you to truth. In answering this question you must first determine what is "truth"
As a Christian, our source of truth comes from God's word revealed to us in the Bible. (John 17:17). God's word is the ultimate standard of truth in that all things are measured against it and God's word is measured against nothing. Man has no authority to judge the validity of God's word in determining for himself whether it is true or not.
Thus, to be assured that you are going on the way of truth is to ensure that you are obeying God's word for where else would you go?
I am sure that there might be a thousand questions in your mind right now regarding the statement i just gave above....like how do we know that one set of writings is Gods word and not another, how do we know that the God of the Bible is the on true God and so on......but i can tell that the question you posed reveals your quest for truth. The Bible says " seek and you shall find' so i urge you to earnestly lift up your request to God in your search of truth and as you do may you find it in Jesus Christ.
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life'..."

Do you feel good about your path? Then it's probably the right one.
Unless you have a mental problem, like feeling good about molesting antelope. That's probably NOT the right path.

Jesus is Truth. Jesus is Love. Jesus is Life.
What is or will be the fruit of your actions/words?
