older computers will start in safe mode if they last regular boot failed. if this happens every time you will need to identify the problem and fix it. Try stepping through the startup process.

The PC is telling you that something is wrong. I would boot into safe mode and run a Scan Disk.
Start > Run > Command > type in CHKDSK/f
CHKDSK/f will look for problems on the drive and try to fix them. Good luck.

well if it keeps going into safe mode, something must be wrong with windows, i would advise uninstalling any new programs, applications, hardware and keep trying.
also if u messed around with msconfig at all.. then do start/run type in msconfig press enter ok goto boot.ini and make sure there is no tick in /safeboot
