I hate sitting next to someone on the train who keeps sniffing. I wonder why they don't just blow their nose. I always do and although it can be loud at least it's quick. A guy on the train had a tissue in his hand and was sniffing non-stop for about 30 mins. Maybe I'm too sensitive of these things!

OMG i hate it when someone is sniffing! i think they should just blow thier nose and seal withit and let the rest of us not suffer from that horrible nose. i'd rather have like 20 people blowing their nose (as long as its into tissues or a hanky and not thier sleeve or sumthing..eeew!) than have some like sniffing for 30 minutes.

I agree with you. It drives me nuts. I don't mind the sound of nose blowing, because you've gotta do what you've gotta do. But don't sit there sniffing for 30 minutes. And if you're a loud nose blower, excuse yourself and go elsewhere.

nose blowing is fine, but I cannot stand the sound of sniffing. Ugh, it's so gross, I can just imagine the snot being sucked back up into their noses.

Yes....sniffing is the worst. Just blow your nose all right all ready....it's telling you something by all the sniffing! :D

I'd rather listen to a sniffer. Eventually you can just drown them out. It's the loud, honking nose blowers who irritate the crap out of me. Why do people have to make a big production of it, and acutally HONK when they blow their nose? I don't think this is normal.

I agree. I work with a girl who sniffs constantly and she's a waitress. I sure wouldn't want someone coming up to my table to serve me food and sniffling all over it. They should try to get some medication to dry it up.
