Anything with a bet. Even though you don't care for rap, I think that is the best music to get you going. Shakira and Rihanna have great beats. If not there's always 80's music, and disco music.

During training:

Right now I have these in my MP3 player.
1) Paul Van Dyke
2) Chemical Brothers
3) The Sounds
4) Dashboard Confessionals
5) The Hives
6) Muse

But I don't wear in competition or group rides, of course.

Cheers and good riding!

I listen to my ipod while I jog and I know that I definitely change my pace to whatever the beat of the song is without realizing it, so if you're cycling I recommend some fast-paced songs. One of my favorite bands that have really good upbeat songs is Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. His greatest hits CD is definitely a good one to workout to.
