My dog has one too. I took him to the vet to have it checked and the vet told me that some dogs get them and they're perfectly normal. I don't know why some dogs get them, though. I would still take your dog to the vet, just out of precaution.

Cushing Syndrome is hereditary in schnauzers so take you dog to the vet. My dog Joey had it in the last years of his life and he until 12 with it.

There are alot of things that could be. Did it just appear? How long has it been there? Is there any discoloration around the "mole"?

Could it possibly be a nipple? Even male dogs will have nipples.
