You are in the seventh grade, what is that about 12-13 years old? You should not being doing any of the diet gimmicks out there, ie "Slim Fast". What you need to do is start changing your lifestyle, if you truly want to lose weight and keep it off. Start off by cutting back on your soda intake and start drinking lots more water. Cut back on your junk food, and start eating more fruits and vegetables. Start doing some form of cardio exercise, like bicycling, walking jogging, tennis, soccer, basketball, swimming, yard work, etc. There are a lot of thing that you can do that will get your heart rate up, and start waking up your metabolism. Go out for a team at school, sports, cheer leading, whatever sounds fun. You are still very young, your body will start to adapt soon, with moderate changes, it will not respond too well to quick changes. So instead of 15lbs in 3 weeks, look at maybe 5lbs. to lose weight and keep it off you should make a goal of about 4-8 lbs a month if you are focusing on a healthy lifestyle. Remember the scale does not just weight fast; muscle, bone, water all weight more than fat on the scale.
Good luck on your venture for healthy living and have a great school year.

I lost 20+ pounds on low carb diet without much exercise. Basically, you cut out most breads and all sugar, but lots of food have carbohydrates, so watch the labels. You can have meat, cheese, fruit, veggies & salads, etc. Eat 5-6 times a day ( meals and snacks ) using slightly smaller servings. Counting calories just leaves you hungrey so don't do it. You should lose 1-3 pounds per week, but don't get discouraged if you don't lose anything some weeks. For exercise you should walk or dance. Everything else gets to be a drag or gets old. Check this out with you doctor or nutrisionist first.

the only thing u need is exercise
drinking that slim fast doesnt help much if u dont exercise
u need to sweat in order to lose fat
sweat enough that is
when your body is finished using the food u ate as energy, then your body will start using the fat in your body as energy(fuel)
then will u lose fat
dont be lazy
start running around your neighborhood (not at night)
run with a buddy u know and he/she will thank u for losing some fat

first of all you are yound to diet...be very careful-! my advice is EXERISICE as much as you can...jog, swim...jump rope-whatever! bike...-be active! :)
I recommend you cut down on carbs- dont eat rice, pasta, potatoes/fries and bread----------------- you will drop weight! make sure u eat fruits and LOTS of veggies----------!!!!!! eat salads...eat meat, chicken, fish................... Definitaly no sweets:( and junk food like chips..................... ! good luck! and for the tummy do 100 crunches a day (do some little ones, some harder ones)
No cheating!!!! :) for the 1st 2 weeks dont eat bread at all if you can-and then eat a small slide on WHEAT bread .........forget the bagles :( and mddonalds! :(
It's all about a healthy lifestyle!!!!!!!!!!! after 2 weeks- you can slowly add more carbs--------
SLIM FAST- dont drink it...its bad for you-its just an expencive meal replacement...............! better to have salad or a fruit instead of it------- :)
You know that YOGA ball?!? it helps with woking out the abs-

Eat vegetables, very little meat, only whole wheat bread and no more than two slices a day, no candy, pop, or coffee. Eat fruit but don't over do it. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. Walk 2 miles every day.

Eat veggies and fruits. Exercise. Talk long walks after meals or bike/swim. 124 poulds is what I am and I am 5'6" and it is my normal weight. If you are 5'5" or 5'6" then don't bother to try to loose weight. You are fine.
Oh and drink alot of ICE water. The ice in the water makes you burn more calories.

the best way to help yourself look fit...is to get off the couch...be active.... no tv watching and no videogame playing... go for a walk....do yardwork, ride a bike....whatever. Eat veggies and fruit instead of fast foods and sweets.
there is no quick way to lose weight...don't fall for diet tricks and fads...if you lose weight using these tricks the weight won't stay off.

Absolutely cheapest way would be to eat nothing. Or virtually nothing. And exercise like crazy!
HOWEVER, try to do it sensibly. What's the hurry? We all know the pressure of a deadline but if it comes off slower it'll stay off longer.
