During my high school career, I had numerous experiences: some good, and some bad, but all memorable. Still, those experiences helped me develop into the person that i am today. My four years were very busy for me. I was taking various college courses and keeping myself actively busy. Through the highs and lows, I loved high school, and i hope that my advice will help you to enjoy a high school experience the way I did.

High School is what you make it. I strongly encourage you to get involved in whatever may interest you. Whether that is sports, drama, music, leadership, class, just get involved. And if you don't participate in any of these, go and support your friends that do perform. High School is all about memories, and the way to create memories is by getting involved. My goal for life and in high school was to have no regretes, and never use the words "what if." Even though sometimes being so busy drove me to near insanity, i would never go back and change my schedule. Nothing in life is more expensive than a missed opportunity.

As far as school goes, it really isn't that difficult if you work hard. Take classes that will challenge you because i promise you that your teachers will do all that they can to help you succeed. They will give you every ounce of their energy if you give them at least half of yours. Trust me, i see it happen all the time. Plus, at times, they will be your best friend and you never have to worry about them not beign there to listen.

Make sure to smile as much as you can because everyone loves a cheerful person. I know through all the craziness it will seem impossible to have fun, but it is possible. Make sure to have as much fun as you can in the next four years because it goes incredibly fast. Then ext theing you know, you will be looking back wondering where the time went.

Finally, remember, if you fall, get up, but try not to fall in the same spot. Keep your head up and remember to look forward because sometimes that is the only direction you'll have on your side.

Have a great body, great hair, dress in clothes from Abercrombie and Fitch and play as many of the sports the school offers. Thats a good way to be in with the popular people. After all thats what high school is in my opinion, a popularity contest. I would know I went through it myself. Its wrong but thats life.

Act like Hector the Circus Monkey. Scratch you armpits, make rude gestures and smack anyone that comes near your food. Swing from a branch and occassionally scare the willies out of a small child.
