Different terms are used to refer to different aspects of Christians' lives. Sometimes family terms like "brother" and "sister" are used to discuss our interconnectedness. This doesn't mean that all rules applying to literal brothers and sisters must apply to the use of this analogy when discussing Christians interconnectedness.

Do you have a KJV? Look up, Rev 12:14; 14:17; 22:17; 1John 5:3; Ex 20. for the expiation of just who are Gods people. Having deep relationships (S.E.X.) in not in Gods plan for us unless we do it with the one that we are married to, MAN AND WIFE. Remember it was Adam and Eve, NOT Adam and STEVE, or AMANDA and Eve. Hope this helps.

Not only that, but all those who have been baptized, according to St. Paul, are now part of the Mystical Body of Christ; which of course means that any baptized person copulating with any other baptized person is, by YOUR lights, committing masturbation.
Gimme a break!!!
You and everyone else with an IQ 2 points higher than a begonia knows that the statement is intended spiritually, NOT physiologically.
And thanks for the 2 points.

Well spiritually we are brothers and sisters in the Lord, we have all come into a family of God. Consider this Angelina Jolie has two adopted children and one biological, are they not a real family because they aren't blood related? No you can have friends that are famiy because you love each other and support each other.

Yes we are all figuratively "brothers and sisters." You are taking the definition a little too literally.
(The Bible says that God says having sex with realtives is bad because it is the only way people back in the old days would listen. (they needed some rule to control the births of mentally and physically retarded babies that would be a burden on the survival of their families.)

you certainly were just havin some thoughts, and stupid ones too! if god created humans to have deep relationships, then that is his will, so if we really are brothers or not, god created us, he gave us our way of life, and he takes care of problems like that. the knowladge that we are brothers should be kept in mind though in our everyday lives, the world would be a better place if only we would treat each others like brothers (should ;))

We ARE God's children. We are brothers and sisters in a spiritual sense. Men and women were put on this earth to multiply. I suggest that you read the Bible, go to a Bible study class and ask a lot of questions.

The good thing about God is that he have never create the same finger print or a DNA strand. No one on the face of the earth can explain the miraculous power of God. Can you explain why it is that we all are sinners and he still loves us? That's just who he is.

Religion or science, take your pick.
Religion says we are all descendants of two people.
Science says mitochondrial DNA traces us all back to a single African female.
Either way, if we ain't doin' our brothers and sisters, we sure have been doin' our cousins!

Yes, we're ALL brothers and sisters. We ALL came from Adam and Eve. But think about it: We're all soooo distantly related.
