People say that I am going to have sex before i am married, but i know i won't. How do i tell them that i am a Jesus Freak without them thinking I am really weird. And how do I tell them that I won't have sex until I am married, that's what the Bible says, and I don't know what to do. I don't know how to tell people that I won't have sex until i am married. This guy that i met I told him that I won't have sex until marriage and he said that since i am just now in highschool that my mindset will change. But as long as I am strong in the Lord, and put all my faith in him, I won't have sex. So how do i tell people that I am not going to have sex until i am married, and when they say that my mind will change by the time i get out of school, how do i tell them it won't????

When they tell you that your mind will change, just tell them that you mind is made up and set to do what God wants you to do. It's wonderful that you feel this way. More people should be like you. if you pray and keep reading the bible God will give you strength to do what is right.

maybe you should also look to find more people who are just like you to hang with so you don't have to explain to those other people why you feel the way you feel. Believe me, there are more people out there than you know who feel the exact same way.

Don't worry about what these idiots say. you are not Frigid and you don't need to wear a stupid sign around your neck. some people are so without morals these days that it is a shame. In a world where everybody is doing what they feel instead of what God wants them to do, it is hard for them to see the vertue and value of what you are doing.

Just as you said honey, AS LONG AS YOU ARE STRONG IN THE LORD AND PUT ALL YOU FAITH IN HIM . . . . . He will set your soulmate to you. you are absolutely doing the right thing . . i can tell you that. You just simply let a guy know this. He is going to be with you or he's not. You have the faith that I am so longing for. I have faith in the lord but, i still need some work. lol,lol We need MORE WOMEN like you in this world today . ooooohh it would be so much different and we would have so much RESPECT! That is exactly what you deserve - RESPECT! God has given you the tools to work with - KEEP USING THEM! When you meet a real man . . he will respect you for this and he will be overjoyed with himself that no one has had HIS woman. My uncle married his fiance after pursuing her for 2 years, and she was the same way. My uncle was a true player fo real. When he met his wife . . . He fell in love with her mind, body, soul, her womanly values, her morals . . . and left the sex for last. He once told me that if everything else was good and she was a respectful woman . . he knew the sex would be even better. it was . . they now have 4 beautiful children. God has blessed them with 2 sets fo twins and twins do not run in either of the families! Now that is special! Girlfriend - tell a guy the truth because leading on causes problems and you definietly do not want a relationship starting like that. Take your time and do not settle for less than what you know is right! AND KEEP TELLING THEM THAT YOU WON'T - DON'T LET THEM CHANGE YOUR MIND!

Just simply tell them, "You may decide and think not to believe me but I don't care, I have strong morals and I strongly agree and am going to adhere with the philosophy of the bible, and especially when it comes to having sex only when you're with the one you'll be with for the rest of your life, I strongly believe that it's the right thing for me ." If they were understanding people, they should take whatever you say seriously and trust that you're a good person who will do the good thing and not be so weak to succumb to the pressures of highschool. If they still believe that highschool will change you because they believe they know every step a teenager will take in their lives, prove them wrong by just fulfilling what you're intending to do.good luck.

Also, I'm going to be a Junior in highschool and I myself still have that strong moral of keeping my virginity until I find the one I want to be with for the rest of my life, highschool hasn't swayed me at all from the belief.

Your body is your own, and you know your mind better than anyone probably ever will. If you wanna save yourself for marriage, go for it! I applaud you, darlin. People are going to think what they want and you can't change that. So what if they think you're weird? You know what's right for you, and just hold onto that. Don't worry, because when you finally do have sex, you know that you'll give your innocence to the right person. He'll respect you enough not to pressure you before your ready.

Just continue to say "no," and forget about what these know-it-alls say. You're doing the right thing.

The guy who says that your mindset will change is a selfish jerk. He's not respecting you, and there's only one thing on his mind... sex. He'll use you, laugh, and move on. Stick to your philosophy and wait until your married. There are plenty of guys who will respect your wishes.

You know who you are and what your plans for the future are. You don't need to explain yourself to anyone or justify your actions, just let them think what they want because you can't change people. Just continue to put your faith in the Lord and all will be well.

It shouldn't matter what other people think of you. God knows your heart and that's all that matters. As long as you know that you are doing the right thing then nothing else matters. When you find someone who will respect that then you know who your true friends are!

you simply tell them like you just did all of us... so what if they think your wierd.. in the end the only judgement trhat really matters is that of the lord.... be strong , hold to your principles, and remember that the more partners one encounters in life the hareder it will be to commit to that one special person when they do come along... one that will pressure you to do what is not comfertable to you is not worth your time
