So many Christians say that faith is to believe in GOD even though you have no evidence that a GOD exists, This means that they are admitting that they have put their immortal soul, the immortal souls of their Children and everyone else around them, and the fate of the entire Universe in the hands of something they don't understand and might not even be there. This is reckless behavior.Would you get in a cab and just "Have Faith" that your cabbie was sober? Would you go to a hospital to have surgery and just "Have Faith" that the Doctor (for whom, quite frankly looks a little shaky) wouldn't butcher you? Would you "Have Faith" that there was a parachute in that backpack even though it looks empty? If so, you deserve what you get.

Having Faith in GOD doesn't mean to believe in GOD's existence even though you have no proof of it. Having faith in GOD means to have faith in GOD's doctrine of Peace and Mercy even though noone else seems to be doing it.

GOD is definable.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen! You are double-minded! Having faith in God's doctrine? I believe in God's word but not with faith alone. God shows up on the scene because of an personal relationship. God communicates Thur prayer. God is the word. I have my personal proof of God's existence and isn't based on faith alone! God's proof of existence is not just the a Holy Bible. What are you putting ur trust in? It seems to be yourself! Don't judge christians, judge yourself!

I would rather have my "faith" and take that chance...

For those of you without faith, your best case scenario is you die and rot. Mine is I go to heaven. So either way, having faith is win win.. Have none and ending up with my scenario would definitely suck for you.

I wonder sometimes on the mentality of those without faith...not because I think they are insane, your belief is yours, not mine. But what sort of life is it to believe in nothing after life? To think that you make all these friends and people you care for, hubby/wife, children and then you die and nothing?? I would rather have my faith and die happy knowing they are waiting for me on the other side than die unsure with nothing to believe in.

Lets look at what faith is first:

faith: Acceptance of ideals, beliefs, etc., which are not necessarily demonstrable through experimentation or reason.

Faith; noun. Belief without evidence in what is told by one who speaks without knowledge, of things without parallel."
Ambrose Bierce

"Faith is often the boast of the man who is too lazy to investigate."
F.M. Knowles

Stop stealing morals that are based on common sense and reason. Peace and mercy are not exclusive to your god. If you choose to follow those morals, good for you, but don't act like your god owns them - he doesn't.

Faith is the rejection of reason. It is black and white.
