Pretty much any chemotherapeutic drug can compromise the immune system. Also, radiation, although not a medication, can. There are also specific immunosuppressant drugs that are used to treat autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis or lupus, that can cause lymphocyte suppression as well.

Without going into all the specifics, suffice to say that almost all meds will compromise the immune system. Thus, one needs to improve the integrity of same through proper diet. The data on this is conclusive. I've uploaded some documents to my Yahoo Briefcase which you can download. There's other health stuff there, as well, relating to high protein diets, building up the immune system, ideal blood tests, cancer, macular degeneration, diabetic neuropathy, free radicals, antioxidants, phytonutrients, synthetic vitamins vs whole food, etc. http://briefcase.yahoo.com/apuzyr

the chemotherapeutic agents ( used for cancer therapy and autoimmune diseases like arthritis, SLE, arteritis(a disease of artery), myopathy, psoriasis etc. ) and cortico steroids (like prednisolone) can suppress the immune system. deficiency of certain elements like zinc and selenium are proposed/ claimed to cause immune deficiency, however the confirmation is not there by large controlled trials/ studies.
