I am trying to get back into the military, but I do not have my medical records for when I was discharged. I am trying to get them so that I can get a waiver on my previous discharge. That way I can get back in the military.

First, there is no fast way. But, the good news is that there is a way; VA 1-800-827-1000. Ask for the appropriate forms to get your military medical records. It may still be Form 180, Request Pertaining to Military Records.
An easier and probably faster way is to go to the Veterans Administration Office and ask for the forms. Also ask to see a VA Representative who can explain the process to you.
If you have everything you need with you, they maybe willing to help you fill out the form and send it to right people. You need to have all you information available like discharge records, and any other records you may taken with you at discharge.
For example, you are going to need to write down your medical history as best and clear as you can while in the Military, dates, times, illness or problem, treatments and so on. Take this with you to the VA.
However, get help. If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, call Swords to Plowshares at 415-252-4788. If you are elsewhere in the Country, find an advocate, like Swords that is National like Disabled American Veterans, www.dav.org, 1-877-426-2838.
Good Luck

Contact your old unit's HQ's and find out. It should be somewhere with your 201 file. Im sure they will be able to find it. And if you get back in, make like 3 copies of everything for your personal records. Thats what my hubby does.
