Hello Rahul,
What we know is largely what the press releases. That may or may not be accurate.
Israel has been a thorn in the side of Palestine and Lebanon since the country was created in 1948. By seizing Palestine and renaming it Israel, and moving millions of Europeans in over the years, they have created what most Arabs consider a cancer on the Mediteranean coast.
To this day the Arabs have sworn to destroy Israel and send the Citizens packing back to where they came from. Every enemy, from Egypt, to Syria has tried to battle them. All have lost so far. Now the Hesbolla insurgents of Lebanon are trying what everyone else failed to do. However Israel has a large standing Army, equipped with the best and newest equipment. Every citizen over 18 is trained to fight. The most any insurgent army can hope for is a war of attrition, where the only advances will be inflicting pain and suffering on the civilian populations of both sides. That is where we are right now. Both sides are convinced they are right, and vow the destruction of the other. The best peace negotiators on the planet have spent years trying to work out the Palestinian issue with not much progress. The solution is simple, but hard for either side to understand. In order to exist with their neighbors Israel has to return all siezed lands from the date of creation of the state. The Palastinians and other surrounding peoples would then have to agree to the state of Israel and honor the borders and customs of the Israelis. The Israelis would have to honor the borders and customs of the Arabs around them. Terrorist groups would have to be absolutely controlled and outlawed, any armament found destroyed, and a new understanding achieved.

honestly, it is nonetheless considered a "conflict" .an fantastically severe priced and enduring one. war has no longer formally been declared. the certainty is, maximum human beings will under no circumstances really understand the gross certainty of war. because we've not had a war fought on American soil because the Civil war. until eventually you've in my view lost someone to this conflict it would not result you. We go about our on a daily basis lives as if the international turned right into a non violent position. we do not realize what it ability to be displaced from our houses because it is now unfavourable territory or to witness relations and acquaintances killed interior the go hearth. confident we are conscious that this stuff take position, yet after it is stated on CNN we turn the channel and watch MTV or the Sopranos, or what ever it truly is we do to occupy our time.
