Depends on what you mean by "strike me down". If your conscience bothers you about it, then I'd say God has "struck you down". If you mean will God send a lightning bolt through the church and kill you immediately after you utter the curse, I think the answer is no.

Why do you think God would be concerned with you cursing, in church or anywhere for that matter? We all broke the Law completely already, just admit it and move on towards His grace. Wasn't it enough that Jesus took care of all that already, or do you think you have to measure up on your own still?

If you curse in church...believe me God won't forget it. He might not strike you down now, but he will later. so i think you should just ask for forgiveness and try your best not to cuss again...at least not in church. I'v seen so many people doing bad things, but nothing really happens to them yet. But on Judement Day (When Jesus returns), is when they are going to regret it....

I haven't come across in the Bible where it states that God will strike you down if you swear in church, but if you sin against God and His word then you will be held accountable at a later time; in other words will be convicted.

If Church is the house of god, cursing in it is supposedly like spitting on the rug. It'll get the owner pissed, but he's not gonna kill you. He'll just plot his revenge for long periods of time before unleashing his untold vengeance born from his unbridled levels of hatred towards you and all mankind. BWAA HAA HAA! I mean, huh?

you mite be struck if you use gods name in vein, but i highly doubt it, see god created us, and knew we would be who we are. this will not come has a shock to him, he wants us to think, i have a hard time imagining someone getting mad enough to curse that they cant use other words thoughthe english langangish is filled with words to describe things! try an be different , choose your words wisly, i use swear words so little that when i swear ppl look at me and actually listen, like i must have something important to say!

You have a wrong concept of God altogether. He is loving toward all He has made, yet people ignore Him, take His Name in vain, turn their back on Him, and slander Him. He loves you and has a wonderful plan and purpose for your life. Take time to seek Him today.
