Big Diff: Larger seats , more leg room , better services .
Watch out , some airplanes do not have a seperate area for 1st class .The airlines will charge the price of 1st and give you front row seats. You are better off paying for economy and getting to the airport 2 hrs early and request front row seating.Youll get it that way.

depends upon the airline and the length of the flight (I flew short haul with Iberia once and the only difference was the 1st class passengers had an orange sticker on their hand luggage and had paid twice as much as I had haha!) however on mid and long haul it is often worth it. you normally get
priority check in
exec lounge
more leg room
better service
better meal
free alchohol
priority boarding etc etc etc
however the advantage of coach is it is a quater of the price and you dont get the snobby attitudes and the sucking up.... depends upon which you prefer personally i book coach and then wave my airport pass and get upgraded free the best of both worlds! well you have to have some perks in life

Apart from price, in 1st class you have much more room and get much better service. In coach, you sit all squashed together and once during the flight they roll a cart through and you can get something to drink--like coffee or soft drinks, etc. You pay for alcoholic drinks and sometimes, if they offer some sort of food, you pay for that, too. But, mostly, what's lousy about it is how you're packed in like sardines. I usually have a bratty kid behind me kicking my seat, while the guy in front of me has reclined his seat all the way back, practically in my lap. I've only flown first-class once, and wow, I loved it!

There's a big difference in service between classes , but this will also depend on distance and airline.
Now for most cross Atlantic flights , there ARE seats that convert into beds , plus in first class one gets free Champagne , good wines and the food is much better.

Service, space etc. I also travel 1st class or business when i fly, but it is quite embarrassing the way the airline employees suck up to you once they find out you are 1st class.
One time a lady with a baby got in front of me (no problem) but the ailine checkin staff gave her a hard time.
I think all seats shoul be the same and there should be no difference.

Better food, service leg room, and referential treatment. On some airlines you have ur own lcd screen to watch movies while economy class have large screens or crt monitors that cater for large chinks of the passengers!!

Obviously, it depends on the airline, the main benefits include free papers and magazines, free beverages served in proper glasses (alcoholic and non-alcoholic although this also depends on the destination and airline). Fully reclining seats, as well as being able to use proper cutlery with the in-flight meal.
If you are going long distance it is worth it, but anything less than 8 hours, i personally dont think its worth it!

Depends on the airline. Differences include:
- leg room
- boarding time
- disembarkation time
- use of lounges
- quality of meals
- number of free drinks
- entertainment on board
- check-in desks
- amenity packs
1st class, needless to say, offers the better option in each case, or a higher quality version of each of the above,

Usually first class has more room and the perks are better than economy.

In 1st class you have more spacious and comfortable seating, the drinks are free and flight attendants are more courteous and respectful.
