As far as I know, Canada is opening its doors for legal immigration and so is Australia and New Zealand. Also, Canada is the nearest country to the States and I think many people would like to go U.S. to work for the money. I am an asian, by the way.

Its alot better than immigrating to the US. Canada offers a higher level in quality of life, equal oppurtunities, health care, job and a beautiful country.

Did you mean "Why do so many people migrate to Canada?"? If so, it must be because Canada is not only a beautiful country, relatively uncrowded, with a functioning welfare system and good employment opportunities, but also because Canadians are a friendly people and they don't think, as many Americans do, that they are God's gift to humanity.

Out of two immigrants who apply only one gets in but they both have to pay the application fee, and then in Canada they give both people's applicant fees to only one succesful immigrant.

Hey Mehdi M,
In the 1770s, the US and England were at war. If you were loyal to England, you lost your property and your life if you hung around. My ancestors (some of them) were Loyalists, and migrated to Canada, for that reason.
I am sure there are other reasons. Too cold for me.

National Health Care, lower cost of living, nicer people, no overpopulation, and they stay the hell out of other countries' business!

because it is easier than the USA...and equally as safe if not more safe..still 1st world and just as cold as say NY, CN, MASS etc..
