I heard a couple castaways from the spanish armada got to Ireland and started having babaies with the irish women creating black haired irish people.

That is true, lots of spanish sailors survived the armada and most washed up in ireland. Many stayed and had children. However there are lots of black haired people in Ireland and i would guess that very few of them are decended from the spanish armada sailors.

Ask my husband, He is the biggest history buff ever. ANd he is Irish. All 100% of him. He told me the same story.
