God hisself. Good question though, who is God's Mother and Father??? Why haven't we heard more about him???
I think almost everyone in every country has heard of Hitler and knows his mother was a Jew.
Stalin is also well known as is Mao, but I doubt people can name their parents.
Attila the Hun, well known, alot of people know his parents.
Alexander the Great, father Prince Philip of Macedonia quite well known.
I'm not sure how many people in places like China, Japan, Indonesia....non Christian countries, that would know who Jesus is, and his parents. Considering China and India together make up half the world's population, and Islam is the largest religion, there are many people that are probably more well known that Jesus.

King Arthur.... or Merlin. Which one would you like? I can give mother and father... and birth places for both of these. and there are very well known throughout the world (with the exception of, maybe, the islam countries).
And, there are many people who believe both of these "characters" were real people (actually, many archeologists believe King Arthur was in fact a King and did have a "round table"... they just don't think his name was Arthur... strange... that';s what they say about Jesus too... His name couldn't be Jesus, cause there was no letter J in greek or Hebrew... instead it was Yahshua/Yeshua). A group of people have actually taken it so far as to worship Merlin as one would any God-Man... as Merlin is the son of a goddess who seduced a warrior-king in order to have the Ultimate King... instead Merlin took up as an advisor to kings... cause he and his mommy didn't see eye to eye.
These are well known characters that several people believe existed and have been taken so far as to be worshipped. I really so no difference in the two as far as that is concerned. Especially since King Arthur, Merlin AND Jesus... never wrote a thing themselves.

In the Bible noone is more well known than Jesus, because Jesus Is the Son Of God.
However, His Blessed Mother comes in close second. Her mother & father were Sts. Anna & Joachim.
She was born in Nazareth, but, spent part of her childhood in the Temple of Jerusalem.

John Lennon.
Raised by his Aunt Mimi, after mother died. Born in Liverpool, England.
Killed by one of you nuts for saying the Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ. Which was definitely true at the time, and probably still is.

John Lennon notwithstanding, it could be Jesus -- but only for "Western" society. After all, he has had a p.r. squad of miraculous proportions and indefatiguable indominability.
But what about the rest of the world? To get any accuracy, we really need answers from China and India.
