which is better Toshiba or Sanyo??

TV for my kids room. both are about the same price, so which do you think is better?

Toshiba use to have the best CRT-type TVs in the industry., but they no longer produce them, now they have sub-contracted a company named Orion to produce them in Thailand, the quality is gone forever. The same deal with their newly introduce plasmas HDTVs. The only fair-to-good Toshibas I've seen are the small 20", 23", 26", 27" and 32" LCDs with the integrated DVD players named "LCDVD" sets.

Sanyo is a company that's barely non-existent outside Japan. They have no strong present in the U.S. except for a few TVs sold only at Wa-Mart, the same goes if you ever need service for your Sanyo unit. Toshiba have a more reliable customer service.

In Japan, it Toshiba is considered better brand than Sanyo.
