according to the theories of Halton Arp of the Max Planke institute in some cases such as quasars are intrisically red and not red due to Hubbel law considerations...

it actually isnt all that testable if something is intrisically red or red shifted particulalry for quasars

the only problem with your thinking is its not completely true... we have a galaxy that will collide with the milkway sometime in the future...

there are red shifts and blue shifts...one goes away the other comes closer

if you said the universe is expanding then maybe we all came from the same point... im not a christian just an avid scientist

Red Shift cannot be proven and is false. You are assuming that the galaxies are moving away from us. It is not neccessarily true because it cannot be proven. Red Shift do not make sense.

That certainly seems like a reasonable conclusion, assuming the red shift is caused by motion rather than something else.

yup sure where. And as an aside, we are on a collision course with Andromeda. Wouldn't the night sky look cool when they get close to each other.

What? Just because four cars are driving away from you does not in any way mean that at one time they were all parked right next to you. Fool.

Not all versions of faith are against science.

Did the big bang occur? Sure

Does God exist? Sure

If you put your faith in both I am sure in the end you wont be let down.

It does name sense. If they are millions and millions of light years away then the earth is much much older than the mythical 6,000 years of the bible.

YES, that make's sense.
Would be interesting to know How GOD Created all of this, I am still learning. GOD dosen't play game's. If HE gave us Science (HE did) then that Science will Eventually open the Door to how GOD does thing's. GOD WANT's us to Learn these thing's, if your interested. Ditto........
