The whole idea is wrong and self centered. What is good for you may not be good for another. A better idea, dropping the fake archaic English* would be:
Do to others what it is most beneficial for them to have done on their behalf.
* Did you know that the archaic English of the KJV is smoke and mirrors? By the time the KJV was fabricated, archaic forms like begat and thee thou thy were already GONE from the English language. They were put back in to give the new fabrication of the Bible the air of authenticity and age. Because, naturally, that which is old is correct.

This is a funny question coming from God. I think that one needs to balance loving others with self respect and street smarts so that one doesn't become a victim. :) Have a great day.

Why do you use the word "god" as your username? Like you're out of English vocabulary or something? I guess so. Poor YOU!!! Look up Webster and find some cool words, dude.

Most people are paranoid, so I would say #1 for the "general public"...
My view on that is treat others as I want to be treated... if they show no respect and treat me or others like crap, then I assume that is how they want to be treated. ^_^
