I have a friend who gets crazy when she drinks so we switched her beer with O'douls non-alcholic beer.Yet she still acted loopy.

The mind is very easily fooled that happens with anything if we see the drink and thats what our brain thinks it is our brain will act accordingly. I have seen it with pills, lots of things. its the placebo effect.

O'Douls is considered non alcoholic but it does have a very small amount of alcohol in it. Must be jusy enough to get yout friend loopy.

I don't think so, I have been drinking O'douls on weekdays for a few years now and I have never felt any signs of drunkenness, and believe me I know drunkenness.

Yes, there is definitely a "psychological component" to getting buzzed. I have known others that have done the same thing at parties (unknown to everyone drinking), with the same result: everyone acts buzzed.
