No, there's nothing in prenatal vitamins that should cause you any problems. They just have higher levels of some vitamins and minerals in them - hence the reason they seem to help with nail and hair growth.

No, birth control is hormones and prenatal vitamins are just vitamins, but they have a different amount so if you were pregnant, you and the baby would get important supplements. Hormones and vitamins are apples & oranges & won't interact at all.

No. Prenatal vitamins are just vitamins, the only harm would be if you were overdosing on something in them that your body can't use and can't eliminate. They tend to contain a lot of iron, which can constipate you, that might be an issue, but they won't interact with your birth control in any way.

Most everything in any vitamin capsule ends up getting flushed down your toilet, doing you no harm and no lasting good either.

This article explains why most vitamins are a waste of money:

I'm not endorsing their product, just trying to keep you from flushing good money down the drain.

Absolutely not! It's just a multi-vitamen:-) Birth control has no affect on the vitamen and visa-versa. You are fine. I basically do the same thing, except mine's not an actual "prenatal" vitamen. It's just a name, due to the fact that it contains vitamens and minerals very important to a pregnant woman. However, these vitamens are just as important to any woman. It will not increase your chances of getting pregnant, either, if that's what you are also wondering.

Prenatal vitamins are just like any other vitamin except that they have extra nutrients for pregnant women because pregnancy depletes alot of calcium, iron, and other minerals from your body. It shouldn't hurt you to take them, but if you are truly worried check with your doctor.

And the vitamins won't make you more likely to get pregnant, if that's what you are worried about.
