The holy BIBLE says (you may ask from the father) that "If you see a woman bare head, Shave her head".
This is not possible. But do not think that that it is wrong quote, as this saying of GOD was implemented for the time of JESUS (may peace be upon him).
Similarly, there MUST be some sayings in ISLAM or HINDUISM for today's modern world. Because the CREATOR would know every changing states/ moods of His creations (humans, etc).
Do you know what holy Quran says about such bare-head woman?
It says, "O brother of Jesus (Mohammed) peace be upon them, Ask your wives and muslim women to hide their body with cloth completely but face and hands and put scarf on heads, if they do it they 'll be given its reward."
Similarly, in a more peaceful way the things are revealed in Holy Quran that backups the teachings of Holy Bible at full even in the Modern World.
Please comment.

The Word of God is unchanging, yet it has been a guide for every generation that is willing to receive it.
Though the bible has the ability to meet the needs of this modern world, it is not necessarily compatible with the desires of society. It's to be a plum line by which those who receive it measure their lives, but it is not to be redefined in order to appease those who reject the parts they don't agree with.

Hi my ame is Dharminder
Good question as prehestoric as these religions are modernism doesn't wait for anyone. I see that the closest religions are today than they were then is that connection to a conscious being. A connection to here and now which they've portrayed as the truth which is a timeless element. All can relate to which is unseen like a myth as disciplines and doctrines require a full surrender. Modernism is a change the past and future remain objective the present is unsurpassed. That is what I see as these elements within these religions which out weigh they differences. The times have left us behind and so have those people who preached and who they preached today. They don't exist neither do their style of teaching. If any types of purmanences exist within those religions then they are as new today as they were then.

You would be surprised to know how much knowledge can be found in the Bible. It gives wonderful, sound advice about mental health, having a happy family life, maintaining physical health, how to deal with problems in our daily lives.
When you say "Modern World" ethics, one thing that has to be understood. God has not changed as far as his standards go. He still requires us to have morals and he lays out exactly what he expects in the Bible. The other thing to understand is that the Bible says Satan is the God of this system of things. That is the reason why we see so much evil going on. He is the one setting the standards for the world right now, so they do not come close to matching God's high standards. But it is possible to choose to worship God in a way that is pleasing to him. But the first step is taking the time to really find out the benefits found in the Bible.
I am going to include a link that talks about how the Bible can benefit you. I am also going to include another link you might be interested in since you indicated you are a Dr.

well they kinda do,but religeon isnt a modern thing,it's become something to suit everyone rather than u becoming to it's pricipals.i belive that God is totally lost in the picture.it's not like it was before where u have some devoted people, now u cant tell who's real or who isnt...every one is comming up with some bogus belife. bu thing about this for a sec.all the religeons that are here today was not here back then.i dont know about u but i rather go by what was really said and done, afterall how do we know what is real anyways. most people go by feelings o prefrence, somthing to thing about on the TRUE values.but am not a follower anymore just a spectator, mean while i do belive in God just not interested in playing pin the tail on the donkey. everyone claims there way is the truth so what is the truth... i claim there is a little of truth in everyone,so i'll just take the little and leave the rest for people who are bored and want some type of distraction or experience in their life.but religeon has become modern, with changing times u get changing religeons and lef of the real values...unlike God they dont wanna step on any corns! lol.hope that helps.

"Hinduism is a process - for this reason, Hinduism must be studied not as a fixed body of doctrine, but as a developing tradition that has changed considerably throughout the centuries and which is still changing in a creative direction. Everything in India makes sense in the light of the changing process. Nothing makes sense without it. Hinduism is still a living, changing process and must be seen as such."
(source: Religions of India: Hinduism, Yoga, Buddhism - Thomas Berry p. 3-16).
As for bare head, Well India is a hot country.
Women are not told to shave their head if it is uncovered. In fact in South if a woman covers her head (especially a bride) they call it unauspicious.
No woman in ancient art has her head covered. We have elaborately made hair styles and head ornamentations instead. If head is covered , what use they are?

All the time. Large and small churches everywhere are teaching from the pulpit how to best apply Biblical principles to your daily life in today's society. How to work, how to have a family, how to care for your children and your parents.
Sure, religions of all areas teach these things. Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hindu, Buddhism... you name it, all have at least some things that they teach that are appropriate for the modern world.

Not really. The take old ideas and form them for modern use, but they really don't teach modern theories. And anything that is a modern theory that they don't like, its labeled New Age and ignored.

They usually try to, except when there is a blatant contradiction between religion & modern theories, then religion takes precedence.
