When you go to a barber and say, "give me a haircut", you get a haircut.

God says that he answers prayers. Look at John 14:12-14:

"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."

Note the words ANYONE and ANYTHING.

So an amputee goes to God and prays for his limb to be restored. What happens? Nothing. We all know that. Pray for anything - nothing happens. Watch this video:

It is obvious that God does not exist. The barber is right.

But wait, the unkept hair guy could see the barber if the barber walked up to him. An atheist can't see god. If god was real we could see him, just like the unkept hair guy could see the barber.

That's a nice story.

Still, comparing world hunger, wars, and disease to a local barber shop - a lot of people will roll their eyes.

Still a nice story though.

Oh my gosh, that's a really good way of explaining that. I've always wondered about that myself and I've been having a really hard time with it. Thank you so much for sharing that! I guess it's the little things you do that make the most difference.

That is truely a comparison for a believer. Can you see your "god"??? Can you see a barber??? Point!

God exists inside YOU... don't need to search ... look in your own heart. No one needs to follow any book or be like a lost puppy and follow ... oganized religion is just a business.. what is objective of any business??? TO MAKE MONEY!!!
Just follow your heart!!!

this is really cool. there is one little thing that i'd like to add. the reason there is war and rumors of wars and children on the streets and bad things happening to the world like global warming and stuff..is because these signs mean that Jesus IS coming!!!! Let us prepare ourselves for Jesus! for he IS coming soon! :D :D :D
