The problem isn't with Immigration. Its with those that are not legal citizens coming to the U.S. and taking from our country things that the citzens of this country are paying for.
I am sorry, but I get really pissed off when illegal aliens come to the U.S. commit crimes and then run back to their country because they will not be prosecuted. There is a problem here.
I am also appalled at the fact that so many criminals have flooded our streets and commit crimes on children and women, steal all they can get their hands on, drive without licenses, etc... only to again run back to their country when they are arrested and get out on bail...
If you want to be an American, fine! Become one, and accept the punishment for the crimes you commit. Don't come here and expect everyone in this country to learn your native language, the language of America is English. If you can't learn it, then take classes at the local school.
Maybe about 10,000,000 American English Speaking people should invade your country, buy up the land, and force your government to change the language to English. Don't like that?
Well neither does America!
I hope the bill passes and deports every immigrant that does not comply with the laws of America... hey if you don't like it then go back to your country and *****...

CBS/AP) A landmark immigration bill is headed for Senate approval Thursday, setting the stage for tough negotiations with the House.
Senate passage was assured with Wednesday's decision to limit debate. The measure calls for increased boarder security, a new guest worker program and possible citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants.
The vote to advance the measure was 73-25, 13 more than the 60 needed.
And no, needless to say I DON'T agree with it .....

If it is to restrain immigration well America is going to have some hard times. Cause the immigrants are the one who keep some of the wages in USA low: like being a cashier in Burger King, etc.

its a bad thing how can you call a person with hope and dreams a criminal? they dont want them here on the US but they want them to pay there taxes?????? and this country is built on immigrants and you cant just suck all this money then go like,oh sorry you gotta go. Nope thats not right and i hate bush for being a racist even though he says he is not he is only saying that for publicity

I hope it's better than the last one. Billy-boy-hot-pants there made it pretty darn easy to have terrorists come into this country... I hope this segregates good honest people from terrorists. And that's all I'm saying!

Our Country was formed by immigrants.You cant just shut the gate and say sorry we've reached our limit no more can come in.

No, it is a lame 'bandaid' that can't possible stop the Niagara Falls of illegals coming into the US. :(
