Yes. My favorite quote is "The measure of a minds evolution is its acceptance of the unacceptable" . I read a book with that quote in 1976 and it has been the most important book in my life.

I get your meaning. You were not including rapist and child molesters, but other religions and beliefs. Got it. The only thing is I dont think there is an answer to life. First of all, there is no question. Who believes in going to heaven or hell? Who cares? When I die am I really going to care where i go? Am I going to go on or just stay in the ground? I really couldnt care less, big wup. My concern is what happens today, how I live mylife today, that I am happy, and that I do all I can to be a good person. Not weather I go to church or worship jesus christ. Not that I dont beleive in god, i do, kinda, but I also believe there is way more to life than that. That is what you mean by spiritual growth right? Too bad peace and love dont follow naturaly. Its the lack of acceptance thats to blame. Not one religion is right, everyone has their own beliefs, and we as people should just let that be.

Sort of. I can accept most things, but believing in them is another matter. Acceptance is a form of love. So if I love I will accept for love's sake. Believing in the matter at hand does not necessarily pertain to acceptance. Spiritual acceptance or belief should be accepted in a way that will make understanding of beliefs, that are condusive to others worlds, a benefit for enlightenment and seeking of understanding in a way that pertain's to growth in one's own world......

Do you lose the possibility for mathematical progress by way of gaining knowledge of the principles for algebra? Choosing a paradigm does no longer avert progress or exploration inside that paradigm and repeatedly exploration inside a paradigm reveals the bounds of the paradigm. That might necessitate a difference of paradigm. All of this by no means validates the Idea that failure to devote is one way or the other a advantage.

You believe in the acceptance of ALL things?

I don't, and I hope you don't either.

For instance, I don't accept murder. I don't accept rape, terrorism, pedophilia, child abuse, world hunger, racism, religious bigotry and persecution, abuse of power ... the list goes on and on.

There are lots of things in this world that no one should accept.
