YES. I have let 2 very good people slip out & away from me because I was scared of getting hurt. I figured that I would get out while I could before I was the one that was left. I now regret it but we are still friends. I will NEVER do it again. I would better take the risk & give my all than to not give anything and to never know.

Yes, i have let a good thing slip away. I have done it in the past, and it is currently happening to me, although i have no control over the current events. In the past, i let it slip away, whereas right now, my fiancee is the one who is letting me slip away. She claims that she does not mean to do so, but she does nothing to try and prevent it. It really is sad and depressing to see a good thing come to an end, but i guess that every ice cream cone has its last lick.....................

Yes I did. I was very young, and stupid. I was dating this guy, and he totally adored me. He did every thing right, and was wonderful to me. He was so hot and sexy. I had this guy friend that wrote me a bunch of poems and kept asking me out. He was so persistent that I started to wonder what it would be like to be with him. Being a young lady I thought why not. I'm young and need to experience different types of people. So I foolishly broke up with my wonderful boyfriend, and broke his heart. The guy I left him for I ended up marring three years later. He treated me like dirt, and cheated on me. Now I'm in my second marriage, and I can't help but wonder what would have happened if I was a little more mature back then. I miss him to this day. I think about him a lot. I just want to tell him I'm sorry for what I did to him, and that he was so wonderful to me. I was just an immature little brat then. He was my first Love.

Yes and it is very humbling when you realize it. It hurts and sometimes you never get the chance to get it back.
