Are these people actually stupid enough to believe that they would be faithful to them, even if they weren't faithful to the other people?

actually yes they are that stupid. millions and millions of them. some people love the challenge of something forbidden. more times than you think once they get them they don't want them anymore. some people have commitment problems and by pursuing someone else's partner they know that don't have to directly deal with all that comes with making a commitment. others just flat out want what they can't have. it is those who choose to delude themselves in to thinking that they are so special the other person won't do it to them. those people usually find out real quick how wrong they are.

To some, it's just the thrill.
To some, it's an ego stroking to know you can get someone else's partner.
Most of the time, it's a deep problem of pursuing a relationship that is doomed from the start. Lots of insecurity issues there.

Sometimes they are looking for something without a commitment. If the person they hook up with is with someone else, then you don't have to worry about a relationship or calling the next day or really caring what the other person thinks.

I like you, you're funny so now I gotta answer more questions from you. Only women do that kinda stuff. Like Chris Rock said, when a man sees another dude with a good girl he says "I gotta get me a girl like that." When a woman sees her friend or somebody else with a "good" man, she says " I GOTTA GET HIM!!!" And they don't really think about him being faithful to them, they're just in it for the excitement! It's like having sex in public while trying not to get caught! Oh and I don't know who in the world would take you for a man!

They probably like the challenge to see if they can get them. The poor suckers don't have a chance. When someone goes out of their way to steal your heart, its easy to forget everything else.
