well, love is not a goods that could be pushed around among your friends. If you love her and she do the same, then you probably should respect the relationship, by not pushing her to your good friend. Respect her is the key.

You need to think to yourself...is this girl worth loosing a friend over. if so...then go for it. but keep in mind that a friend lasts a lot longer than a g/f(unless you get married).
