They are brand new sandles and he gets a bath every night. I don't understand why in sandles his feet would stink. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the smell, short of throwing them away?
they are leather with a fabric bottom. his plastic one are the same way but i throw them in the washing machine

this might be due to sweat from his little feet...use socks to soak up the sweat and the problem will be gone

If they are cheap shoes that could make the odor. I got my son one pair of generic shoes that were the walmart brand sandles that were leather and his feet stunk so bad I threw them out and got him the nike pair and his feet didnt stink. Its mainly the non-name brands.

Hi! I have the same problem with my son. I went to see his pediatricial the other day and asked him about it. He said not to worry, it is just the sandals and it is common for sweat to smell bad when combined with the air and other bacteria that get into the sandals. I guess I have just leaned to ignore it, it's too hot out to make him wear sneakers.

my son has the same problem. what helped us was to pput socks on his feet. it helped some but not completly my mom suggested puttting backing soda on the sandals at night havent tried it so i dont know if it works. we also bought new sandals without cloth on the part where his foot goes it also reduced the odor some good luck
