How many times a month do you go out and just have a good time with your husband without the kids????

we have a date night at least once a month. We go out do something fun and totally adult and we do not spend the evening talking about the kids. It is must for all marriages.

I work 50 hours a week and he usually works 10-45 hours, and when we're home in the evenings, there's not much time for anything other than dinner, baths for the kids, and cleaning up. On the weekends, we're usually at a birthday party, a school function, or another family event. We don't get to spend a lot of time together without the kids, probably about 4-6 times a year, we go out on our own. Also, both of our parents have many grandchildren, so it's not often we have somewhere to leave the kids for an extended period of time. We have only left them with non-family about 4-5 times. There's not many people we trust with our kids, seeing as how they're only 3 and 5. We're just not very trusting with how other people would take care of them, even though they would probably be fine and have fun. But we enjoy hanging out with our kids as much as we can anyway, so it all works out okay. And we have a lot more fun and appreciate it more when we do get to go out on our own since it's not very often.

None-We do have a date night to our selves at home, when the kids go to bed(once a month). But that is it. We are way to busy and have better things to spend our money on then over priced restaurants.
With 4 wonderful kids, a 3,000 square foot house, lawn, a husband who is going to college and retiring from the military. We just don't have the time or the want to.

None. And we are fine with that. We spend good time together (just the 2 of us) every night when the kids go to bed. We both work and normally we find it is nicer just to be at home together - no need to leave the house to have a good time.

Never. When my husband and I decided to become parents, that is something that we both agree on. Our children are part of what makes our lives fun.. We enjoy doing things with them.
Every three months or so, we will hire a sitter and go out to eat - or just drive around and look at the country.

we try to go at least 2 time a month
I think it is best for the kids to see mom and daddy happy with each other. It is important for the parents to have a date night and not do everything with/for their kids because one day your kids will be grown with their own lives and if you dont know your spouse, you will be all alone and possibly divorced when you realize that you dont know or like each other again. I am not saying to not do for your kids and with your kids, but your spouse should be top priority so your kids see a stable marriage to use as a model.

Lucky to get out on a date with my wife more than once a month. But we do have a lot of private time during the month.

I might get to go maybe every 6 months! I have allot of responsibility with my kids! Yet everyone is different! When you get to have fun!
