It's not bad for your hair, it's bad for your temples. The hat or cap will rub and make your hair thin there.

No. Your hair is dead, so it doesn't actually need sunshine or oxygen. If your hair gets really accustomed to the hat, you could develop cowlicks. But I doubt anyone wears a hat often enough to do that.

Yes, it is. Your cells need Oxygen to grow and regenerate. Your hair cells need Oxygen and if they do not get any, they will die.
