OK. Food poisining does not go with a sore throat and fever. You may have 2 things going on at the same time. A little intestinal upset from the Taco Bell and may be the beginnings of Strep Throat or Tonsillits. If your fever gets to 101 or higher, your throat looks very red or has tiny red dots at the back by your uvula( the little thing that hangs down in the back) or white patches- go to the Dr. You need antibiotics. Stll have your tonsills? Are they big, red, swollen, with white patches? Go to the Dr. Use a flashlight to look at the back of your throat to determine this. Any blood in your "runs"? Go to the Dr. Otherwise stay home anyway and drink plenty of fliuds to keep hydrated. You don't need to be driving into work with fever, runs and dizziness! Feel Better soon!

Well, I'm not a doctor, but here's my take on it:
1st theory: It could just be that you have a minor flu, because dizziness and weakness are all symptoms of that. However, your fever is not that high.
2nd theory: You suffer from anxiety. What you're describing sounds a lot like me when I have a lot of anxiety (I have been diagnosed with panic disorder). Because you're anxious, it makes you get the "runs". Your body is so tense that it makes your muscles ache, and your body feels weak. You get dizzy because... uh, you DO when you're anxious. And just because you don't really know that it's anxiety doesn't mean that it's not. It's your body's reaction to a lot of pent-up anxiety in your subconscious. And this doesn't mean you're crazy or anything. If anxiety IS indeed what it is, it's really good to know, because then it helps you fight it off. Additionally, if it gets too pent-up inside you, you will have a panic attack, which means you will freak out for no reason and think you're gonna die, when there's really nothing wrong with you (which pretty much sucks, haha).
3rd theory: Food poisoning.
Anyways, it may or may not be anxiety (which by the way is a really common phenomenon), but to me, if it's a vague, shadowy type of "sickness", it's probably some symptom of anxiety.
Take care! Hope you get better.

It could be a few things......
If it was food poisoning, you would normally experience very painful stomach cramps and vomiting, along with the runs.
Is it really hot where you live? It could be that you have heat exhaustion. That, coupled with dehydration can bring on similar symptoms.
There is a flu going around that causes dizziness and runs, as well vomiting. It lasts about 24 hours, however the runs and stomach cramps, and fatigue last about a week.
The alternative, since you didn' t specify your age, is that you are having some sort of corinary "event". Heart attacks are often described (especially by women) as a feeling of not feeling right.
In any case, if you are concerned, it would be worth the expense to go to the doctor to get a diagnosis. Your health is too important to play guessing games.
Good luck!

Sounds to me like you have become severely dehydrated. A doctor can start an iv and give you solutions to rehydrate you rapidly, but if you can keep fluids down without throwing up, you can do this yourself by drinking a good electrolytic solution in adequate amounts to rehydrate your body. One of the best is found in the grocery and is called Pedialyte, Drink at least two liters in the next 16 hours, and keep drinking it as long as you have diarrhea. After 24 hours of diarrhea what ever was irritating you has gone, but the diarrhea can persist because your normal flora in the intestine has been destroyed....so tomorrow, in addition to drinking Pedialyte, eat a cup of live culture yogurt, Yoplait is one such yogurt, to replace the flora you've lost.
If after two days on such a regimen, you are not better, then it's time to definitely see a doctor.

A hypothesis is an educated guess. Most hypotheses are proven false for many reasons. I believe all of the above have missed the point. You are simply asking if your statement is a good hypothesis. The answer is no. The reason a good hypothesis needs to be stated in an "If" "then" statement. Example. If I eat tasty foods for lunch, then I should have better eyesight. Here you have the two basic things needed to develop a controlled experiment. What you are testing and the results you expect. Remember it's just a hypothesis not a theory....

You did the same thing that I once did and I had to go to the doctor for it. I also ate at Taco Bell and had the same symptoms you have. It is the ground beef that you ate, my doctor told me it was the ground beef because it had been sitting over heat for a long time. I don't eat there anymore. Take something for your stomach and some Tynol for your fever, it will finally wear off after you **** out all those microgerms.

Sounds like food poisoning to me too. If we knew half the stuff done to the fast food we order, they'd be out of business!
Sounds like it's going to be a 24-36 hour thing. If you don't want to go to the doctor, that's cool, but I would strongly consider it if your temp goes into the 102 range. Better to be safe than sorry.
Hope you start feeling better soon.

Bro, it sounds alot like food poisoning. This is NOT something you can just wait off, you need to see it doctor or it will get worse. This is different than just a fever or a cold, it can get pretty serious if it isn't treated quickly. Sorry to break it to ya, but your gonna have to take that day off. Good Luck and hope you get better!

Whether you like it or not...you are going to have to go see your doctor...because it sounds like it is more than a little bug...if you never experienced dizzy spell when you have had a bug...then it could be something else...if the dizzy spells continue...I suggest to go to the emergency room...and when you make a appointment to see the doctor...make sure you let them know that you can't wait for next week nor next month...ask them to squeeze you in...or ask if they are open on Saturday...be careful if you drive...even though they only last about 3 seconds...3 seconds on the road can be dangerous...and even walking...but go see a doctor...
Good luck & take care!

They should change their logo to "run to the bathroom" instead of "run to the border" because I've had similar experiences. Probably some kind of bacterial infection from careless food preparation. It's best to see a physician in case you experience any further issues or prevent more serious ones. If worse comes to worse, you'll have it documented in case you need to take legal action. Chances are, you weren't the only one that got sick that day.
