not just on yahoo answers, but in life general. is racism getting that bad, that everytime someone sees a dark person they automatically put "illegal" n "mexican" on them?

First off....
Illegal immigration is not just about MEXICANS!!!!! I am tired of this BS about the US is being bias about Mexicans. No, the US is working on stopping all illegal immigration (Mexican, South American, Asians, Europeans, etc...). You want to come to this country, GREAT, do it like everyone else has, LEGALLY!
Second if you honestly think that just because people see you with dark skin they automatically think that then you have a bit of a complex. I guess I should start wondering if people think I am a racist since I am white, 6'4", Blonde hair, blue eyes (you know the old German Arian race thing).

Try wearing a T-shirt with an American Flag...try speaking ONLY English, in public, be respectful when the Pledge of Allegiance is played, join GOOD organizations that promote patriotism, do whatever you can to look like you are part of our nation.
Stay away from illegal causes, organizations and extremest. Stay away from "trigger" phrases or clothing that would make people profile you....
Sadly, very sadly, because of the illegals behaviors, you will have a harder time....

Well, not everybody does. I have hispanic neighbors. When I first moved here, I didnt wonder if they were illegal, I was thinking about all the delicious food they are fixing. I'm from Texas, living in Delaware and you cant get good ol' Tex-Mex food up here!!!
