catch them,
register them,
let them go work and pay taxes,
kick them out if they commit a crime

First off good luck in all your pursuits. Beware though that the job market is constantly changing. When I was in my 20's (thirty years ago) working in a factory with good benefits and a very good pay was great. Since then the jobs aren't there and I had to go other places to try and find employment. Well employers know that there are too many trained people to fill the jobs so the wagers reverse for your particular trade. Technology also plays a part. Many jobs were highly-skilled professions but with the advent of change a person with minimal skills can run a machine because the computer does the thinking. Most people will try to learn new skills but you would be amazed at how many times I heard you are over-qualified and I can't afford you. I was tradesmen (toolmaker) so how does the low-end worker survive when there are too many people in the workforce to do their job because of illegal immigration? Yes, you go back to school for new training and again because of your age most companies won't take a shot. I'm not blaming anyone life is constantly changing. Just my opinion as to what is part of the problem.

Huh? Your question doesnt make total sense, so maybe you didnt learn as much in college as you should have. Bear in mind that only something like 15% of American Adults have a Bachelors degree. So its not really the white collar, college grad jobs that are being stolen, its the blue collar, working class folks that are losing out. Look at all the American construction workers (framers, bricklayers, etc) that used to be paid pretty well, that can no longer find work because homebuilders would rather hire Slaves (oops, Illegals) for $10 a day.
Your points on welfare lose me completely- Illegals dont get welfare, and they dont spend 2 years in jail.

of course you are correct that jailing them would continue to cost the taxpayers, i hope i have not misunderstood your question, but i don't think anyone is talking about the educated when they speak of immigrants taking our jobs. there are so many high school dropouts, and even those with a high school diploma who will almost always work for minimum wage. there are various reasons why these people don't try for higher education, and when they have children to support some will take any job that is paying, and if an illegal has taken that position it is very discouraging. seriously though wouldn't that be a paradox if illegals were crossing with a college degree? ha ha

I don't believe that immigrants are taking the american peoples jobs. It's the americans that are too lazy to work for minimum wage. People want to work but want high wages vs. minimum wage. And it is used as an excuse not to work saying the immigrants are taking way all the job. One thing I don't agree is allowing them (immigrants) to draw off our government and my taxes pay for this.

Not everyone goes to college to work in air conditioned offices. some people do go into the manual labor area to make a living. Their contention is that illegal immigrants are doing those jobs.

You've never had the joyous experience of a manual labor job! LOL That's ok, you're among the masses who don't have any reason to worry....yet. India, however, may put paid to your comfortable existence, not through immigration, but through outsourcing. Robots are coming....

I did those Jobs-so did my friends in college to help pay for things. Now many can not get those Jobs. Those jobs are needed by many. I think of myself as American and that is how most treat me. Those jobs are for Americans or those trying to be. So your post is ridiculous. And you are too.

Thats a great point....
If your educated, you have nothing to fear for you are not in competition with illegals for jobs. And if I did lose out to an illegal, because they did a better job than myself, then I must work harder and smarter, to be able to compete with them.....
Shame on me for being lazy and letting an illegal beat me out of a job...

Tough comment, but I can't disagree.
The only thing to add is that I am not upset about immigration (legal). I am upset by immigration (illegal).
