If you care about somebody to much, but you do not really love him the way he would want me to love him . When it turns out, the guy decides to move on with his life, because he sees there is no chance of waiting for me for nothing. But i am unable to let him go. He has been asking me to get engaged to him, i just can't say Yes, and i can't say No, i cannot let him go though, i do not want to lose him................Please i would really need mature answers for this!

listen it sounds like it's hard for you to open up if u can't let him go then that's a sign that u might love him in the way he wants u to. u can't be selfish though because if u really know in your heart that u don't love him then don't hold him from his destiny and yours. don't be scared to take risks in life thats living, thats what life is about, making choices. if the choice u made is good then great if not it's a expierence to learn from. think about it say yes if u really want to be with him.In life nothing's ever certain.

You can't have your cake and eat it too sweetie! If he has asked you to marry him and you can't bring yourself to decide, maybe that is your subconscious telling you that he is not the one for you or that your not ready to settle down. You may want to talk it over with him, and if it ends up in the end that you are not with him anymore.....
Just don't leave a guy hanging on a question as big as a proposal. His ego can only take so much before he decides that it wasn't worth it for him to put himself out there like that.

I agree that U must be sure for U cantake that kind of desitions.
But think in one thing if you relly love him, U must think about maybe you will gonna make your boyfriend waste his time with U, because if in the future you decide not to take him as a husband, for him it would look as you make his to waste his time and loose the oportunity to be loved as the way he deserves.
But if you're sure that you want time just to be sure and not because your being selfish*. so tell him that you need time, that you won't mkae him waste his time and you want to think it better and when the time comes you will tell him yes or totally not but in a nearly future not after passes one year.
* selfish--> because maybe you have't reallize that mature means stop thinkin in us and began to think in the needs and feeling of other people. So maybe you don't want let him go cause you have good moments with him so in that thoug you're thinking in you.

Tell him exactly how you feel, and don't let him pressure you into making a big mistake, like getting married, if you are not 100% sure. If he loves you, he won't force you to make a radical decision.

If you can't imagine living the rest of your life without him in it, marry him. If not, let him go. When the right person comes into your life, all doubt is removed.

It sounds to me like you really don't want to give him what he is looking for so to be fair to both of you it might be a good idea to end it and move on so you can both find what your looking for
