I personally think if Israel wants to go after Hezbollah that's fine with me but most of the deaths in Lebanon by Israeli airstrikies have been innocent civilians and I just have to say one more thing Israel complains that the people in these countries hate them well how couldn't they Israel is bombing and killing the innocent civilians and as for Lebanon maybe if the people in Lebanon stopped supporting a terrorist organization that wants to destroy Israel and keeps shooting missiles at them maybe this war wouldn't be happening right now everybody in the Middle East should stop trying to blow up Israel and the same thing goes for Israel they should stop trying to bomb the Muslim countries that surround them and then maybe these countries could finally have peace.

Seems as though you miss the point. I find it difficult to understand people like you who haven't the ability or desire to see reality. This conflict between Israel and Hezbollah is a part of the war on terror, just as the war in Iraq is.
Hezbollah has been around since the 1980s. They stem from the group that took Americans hostage in 1979/1980. See, Hezbollah is not only an enemy of Israel, but is also an enemy of the United States.
Yes, this has been going on for decades, but we are now in the GLOBAL War on Terror. Our focus is on dealing with terrorist groups and eliminating them. If Israel is successful in eliminating Hezbollah, I see that as a victory for Israel AND for the rest of the free world.

When Israel hits targets, they are sites that are either (1) known to be used by or assisting Hezbollah (such as the Hezbollah TV station, etc.) or (2) Katyusha launch sites. When Hezbollah launches Katyusha rockets at Israel, Israeli radars determine the exact point of launch and dispatch a bomber to hit that point in an effort to destroy the launchers. In an effort to win the media war, then, Hezbollah is launching these rockets out of civilians' homes, so that when Israel strikes the site, they will hit civilians.
When you look at it, however, these "innocent civilians" were allowing Hezbollah to fire rockets at Israel from their homes, which means they were aiding and abetting a terrorist organization and are, in essence, terrorists themselves. They are therefore completely legitimate targets and deserve to be bombed just as much as any other member of Hezbollah (or Al-Qaeda, Hamas, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade, or any other terrorist organization).
How is it wrong for Israel to accidentally kill these terrorist-helpers in an attempt to destroy the rockets that are pounding its cities while it is okay for Hezbollah to intentionally fire these rockets at major Israeli civilian centers like Haifa and Nahariyya? Imagine if Mexico just started launching missiles at San Diego and LA!

Why is it that there are people crying a river for the Lebonese? The Hizbollah basically runs South Lebanon. Why are people crying about the poor Lebonese people - if the Lebonese people policed this terrorist organization, and prevented them from crossing the border, mudering Israelis and kidnapping two soldiers, they wouldn't be in this mess. If Hizbollah stopped hiding behind civilians, and religious buildings, and started fighting like men, then the civilian casualties would be minimized. Start pointing the fingers at yourselves for those innocent loss of lives.

Here is what I have to say. Israel should be allowed to defend themselves, and their country. Now the reason that this started was because Hezbollah took Israeli troops hostage, but Israel has a right to stand up for its country and countrymen. All I have to say is GO ISRAEL, and may God add His blessings to you as you go. I definately don't mind if they take out some terrorists. Now do I realize that innocent people die because of this? Yes, but welcome to war. This will always occur. It is war. People die. We should just pray that the death rate stay low. So all I have to say is that I am for Israel.
GOD BLESS ISRAEL!

If Lebanon had a real Government, they would oust these Hazbo's themselves instead of having Isreal defend herself from a Lebanese gov't that allows terrorist groups to reside on their soil.

I feel that these 'massacres' were orchestrated by Hezbollah. Why doesn't any criticize them when they deliberately put civilians in the path of bombs?
