It depends on what brand of "faith healing" you believe in. The Benny Hinn and Oral Roberts type I would say no. However, never forget that it's never wrong to pray in faith for a healing or miracles! The good thing about God is that he will heal someone in spite of some fake and phony Preachers. If it's God's will to heal someone, that someone will be healed. In spite of what some of these rich t.v. and radio Evangelist's tell you!

A recent study showed no difference for sick people who were prayed and not prayed for and didn't know about it. There was no significant difference in cure rates. Interestingly, those being prayed for who knew about it did slightly worse. As for the charlatans, religion is the perfect con. It is government protected, tax free, and the product they sell never has to be delivered until you reach a place that doesn't exist. Little wonder so many con-men (and women) jump on that manured money wagon. So called "healings" are part of the con.

Sometimes. Many diseases can be influenced (at least temporarily) by mental states. The hysteria induced at faith healing can sometimes improve minor, psychologically based diseases. But nothing serious or purely physical. I just saw a show following people who went to faith healers, claimed to be healed on stage, then in 2 weeks their diseases were all worse, and damn if I can't find it for you now!

I believe it is possible, but for most people, it is most likely not God's will for them to be healed at that exact time and place. I think faith healers try to speed up God's timing often and it doesn't work that way.

No, absolutely not!
God does choose to heal some, why we do not know. But anywhere you hear about healing taking place is a fake,

Sure it works. But at the same time we are told in the Bible tthat some afflictions will be with us as a reminder. As John learned when he complained of a thorn in his side, God replied, "My grace is sufficient."
